Defences on top as Kings triumph

THIS was an intriguing contest between two evenly-matched teams and the further it went, the more likely it became that one goal would settle it.
And that’s how it turned out as the home team did enough to take all three points from a tight and tense affair.
The first chance of the game went to Kings Langley when Ben Heath blocked a Stevie Ward shot and gathered the rebound at the feet of Mitchell Weiss.
The home team almost took the lead midway through the half when a looping Jordan Parkes header hit the post.
