IT WAS a game that had almost everything: A red card, woodwork hits, penalty appeals but perhaps not the number of goals it deserved. Ultimately, Luke Jephcott’s ninth-minute goal proved decisive. Johnville Renee dwelled on the ball in his own box and when it fell to Jephcott he rocketed home to give Jack Smith no chance.
By then Truro had already hit the woodwork twice, with Jephcott also missing from six yards out.
