THATCHAM’S unbeaten league record came to an abrupt end as they missed the chance to go top of the league with defeat against Slimbridge.
The deadlock was broken on 35 minutes when Danny King latched onto a lofted through ball, taking a good touch before driving into the far corner.
Thatcham found a leveller after the interval with Zak Westlake powering in a header from a corner.
