BERKHAMSTED withstood a second- half comeback from North Leigh to claim the three points and stay second in the table.
Alex Witham gave Berko an early lead with a closerange shot, converting a Lewis Toomey cross after a long clearance from Xavi Comas-Leon.
Matt Howard produced a fine double save but conceded a corner and from it Toomey added the second on 17 minutes.
Just before the interval Jonathan Lacey grabbed a third goal for the home side with a near-post shot.
