RUSHDEN & Diamonds recorded their fourthstraight league victory as they defeated lowly Stratford Town. The opening 20 minutes were quiet, but the hosts took the lead with the first real opportunity when Jesse Akubuine pounced on a loose ball to lash home.
Diamonds doubled their lead on the half-hour mark when winger Greg Kaziboni latched onto a defensive mistake and unselfishly squared it across to fellow winger Ben Acquaye to tap into the net.
