FIRST-HALF BLITZ HELPS GLASSBOYS EASE TO WIN

STOURBRIDGE effectively had the three points wrapped up before half-time after building an early 3-0 lead against strugglers St Ives.
But the second-half goal glut never materialised from the Glassboys as second from bottom St Ives persevered and pulled a goal back to give themselves a foothold.
Stourbridge had survived an opening scare when St Ives wideman Andrew Osei-Bonsu broke free down the left flank and was brought down in the box, but Rob Parker fired the resulting penalty against the post after just two minutes.
