BEACONSFIELD’S mini unbeaten run came to a halt as well organized visitors Gosport Borough mounted a smash and grab raid to take home the points.
In a game short on real quality, the hosts started the brightest and almost netted in the early stages when Aaron Minhas saw his effort saved by Kingsley Latham on 15 minutes.
The visitors should have opened the scoring on 23 minutes when a slip by Rams keeper Myles Bowman saw the ball bounce up in front of Charlie Kennedy.
Taken by surprise, he put his effort wide.
