DUANE DARBY has begun his rebuilding job at Redditch United by appointing former Lye Town boss Mark Jones as his new assistant.
The Reds finished rock bottom of the BetVictor Southern Premier Central division but were saved from inevitable relegation by the Covid crisis.
Darby, the former Torquay United, Shrewsbury and Rushden & Diamonds striker, has set out his stall to make the Worcestershire club more competitive next season and has brought in Jones to help turn things around at The Trico Stadium.
