MET POLICE chief Gavin MacPherson is confident his side will be back in the promotion shake-up next season – and reckons his players believe it, too.
After winning the Southern League Premier South play-offs last term – only to miss out on promotion via a ‘Super’ playoff against Tonbridge Angels – the Boys in Blue were 11th in the table this time around when the season came to a premature halt.
The question now is whether the Police can recapture their 2018-19 form – and MacPherson is optimistic.
