MIKE Ford says he had no choice but to resign as manager of Banbury United – after being told by the club he had to remove his fiancé from his coaching staff.
The Puritans boss, in charge since 2015, had been discussing extending his contract with the club, which expired on April 30, but was left stunned when he read one of the board’s demands.
