CONSETT chairman Frank Bell reckons the FA need “a greater understanding” of the financial pressures that Non-League clubs find themselves under during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Steelmen have hosted FA Vase home ties against Maltby Main and Northern League Division One rivals West Auckland Town over the last fortnight.
But with Tier 3 restrictions still in place across the north-east and the majority of England, only the latter fixture was played in front of supporters.
