ROB Hughes was the toast of Flint Town United after he fired in two late goals to earn a 3-0 win over Aberystwyth Town to lift the Silkmen off the bottom of the JD Cymru Premier League.
Having hit rock bottom in the week with their 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Cefn Druids, Flint rocketed up to ninth two weeks after manager Niall McGuinness was given the bullet in the wake of a 6-3 battering by Barry Town United.
A goal three minutes before the interval by Mark Cadwallader edged Flint ahead. Then Hughes struck twice to make the game safe. ...
