■ FC ROMANIA’S unbeaten run at home came to an end on a rain-drenched pitch, succumbing to an early goal against Bedford Town.
The visitors came out of the blocks at a tremendous pace, and inside the first minute Loris Marcimain saved Rene Howe’s stinging shot.
Callum Donnelly’s header settled the game after eight minutes after he got on the end of a fine cross by Hugh Alban-Jones.
FC came back into the game as the half progressed – Sean Bonnett-Jones and Zeon Stylianides both saw their efforts denied.
