■ ON a wet, windy and cold day at Sharpenhoe Road, a solitary goal for Didcot sent all three points back to Oxfordshire in a game lacking any quality football or chances on goal in difficult conditions.
Noah Alabi was credited with Didcot’s goal when his wellstruck shot hit a post in the 30th minute but the rebound hit the back of Rovers keeper Kyle Forster and into his own net.
Forster was replaced in goal by Daniel Gould five minutes later. Didcot pressed for a second goal to kill the game off at the start of the second half and their firs...
