■ HIGH-FLYING Bedford Town strolled to a comfortable win over Didcot Town at Loop Meadow.
In the 19th minute Drew Richardson found space from a free-kick to put the Eagles in front.
Harry Evans nearly levelled immediately and would rue the miss as before half-time Joe Butterworth would make it two.
Didcot started slow after the break, and Connor Tomlinson would grab a third just before the hour. The only chance after that was an effort from Harley Giles well-saved by Alex Street in Bedford’s goal.
