■ AFTER inflicting a first defeat of the season on Frome last week Highworth were keen to bolster their play-off hopes with another good result away against an in-form Melksham side.
Despite playing with a strong wind against them, it was Melksham who dominated the first half and came closest to opening to scoring when Albie Hopkins struck the post after 20 minutes.
With the wind behind them in the second half, Melksham continued to dominate, and eventually took the lead through the dangerous Hopkins in the 59th minute.
