■ BEDFORD went nap on Kempston at the Eyrie in front of 715 supporters, with a big win to stay in second place.
A dominant Eagles went into double figures with corners in the first 45 minutes, scoring two goals as a Joe Butterworth shot and a Rene Howe tap-in gave the home side a half-time lead.
