■ WILLAND Rovers started well but Cirencester Town’s custodian Alex Harris made saves to a Ben Griffith shot, a Tom Bath effort, and an Archie Reay header.
Not to be outdone, the Willand keeper George Burton made a fine stop to a Levi Irving header.
The game was turned on its head in the second-half when the referee gave a controversial penalty, with Jake Lee converting.
Willand’s Ryan Guppy the saw red for a second caution, in the 53rd minute.
