■ KEMPSTON edged a tight contest at Hertford to seal three vital points near the foot of the table.
After a slow start the Blues nearly took the lead when Obinna Ogbonna struck the bar. However, it was the visitors who made the breakthrough just after half an hour with Adam Drakulic finishing well after a quick breakaway.
A scrappy second half livened up after Hertford brought on substitute Vlad Sighiartau who struck a post and then won the ball to create the equaliser for Ogbonna.
