■ ANOTHER close Oxfordshire derby was edged by Thame thanks to David Pearce’s 33rd-minute goal.
Wantage started brightly and could have gone ahead in the second minute when Kyle Bestley’s header was tipped over. Thame grew into the game and thought they had gone ahead after 17 minutes, but Ryan Blake’s effort was ruled out for offside.
