■ HUGH Alban-Jones was the hero for Bedford Town in a five-goal thriller.
Alban-Jones scored a winner deep into injury time after Rene Howe had equalised for the visitors only minutes earlier via a disputed penalty. Bedford dominated possession and territory in the first half, but only brought one save out of Brad Robinson, before they took the lead on the half hour courtesy of Alban- Jones’ low shot.
