AFTER the heavy storms a day prior, the Met Police didn’t regret avoiding a postponement with Devon rivals Tiverton as they ran out narrow winners.
One of a few Southern League games to go ahead, this affair began pretty evenly with Tiverton striking the bar from long range after their hosts hit a post from inside the box.
The Blues kicked off the second half positively and their opponents in yellow were finally undone by a long ball in behind that met the feet of Liam Ferdinand who calmly tucked his finish past Tivvy ...
