MET Police overcame an early scare before running out comfortable winners in their home clash with Weston-super-Mare.
The visitors almost took the lead, but the Weston bench were appalled to see Sonny Cox’s early effort ruled out for offside.
A mistake at the back from the Seagulls saw them concede the first goall on the stroke of half-time after Mather capitalised on a poor back header that was swiftly played into the path of Oliver Knight, who fired into the top corner.
