FARNBOROUGH kept pace with the promotionchasing sides as a fully deserved win extended Yate’s recent poor home form.
Both sides did well to master the swirling wind during the early stages, but the stalemate was largely played out in midfield with neither outfit managing to work the opposing goalkeeper.
A good cross from Yate’s Ollie Mehew just failed to reach a fellow forward in the box before, at the other end, Mitchell Parker curled a free-kick from the edge of the box just over the crossbar.
