GEORGE Cater hit the only goal of a low-key encounter to earn Hednesford Town a win at Lowestoft Town.
It says a lot that the highlight of this game was the pleasant spring sunshine that greeted the spectators – there was very little quality from either side to enhance that. In fact, the referee would have done everyone a favour if he had ended the game after two minutes.
By that time, Hednesford had won a corner from which Cater waltzed through the Lowestoft defence to shoot past Luis Tibbles from close range for the only goal...
