WANTAGE’S dire season continued as they lost to second bottom Colney Heath in a poor game that sums up why both sides have been relegated.
A poor first half saw just the one attempt on goal, Hadley Gleeson hitting a 34th-minute effort that was comfortably collected by the Wantage keeper.
The second half saw a little more endeavour and Wantage had a couple of half-decent chances with the best falling to Callum Crook who pulled his shot wide after 56 minutes.
