BEDFORD TOWN secured promotion to Step 3 with a fine victory over fellow Bedfordshire side AFC Dunstable.
The Eagles took the lead in the 12th minute when Connor Tomlinson closed down Dunstable keeper Jamie Head and forced him into an error. Will Summerfield then crossed the ball for Tomlinson to backheel an effort which hit a post.
He was on hand, though, to smash home the rebound.
