■DIDCOT came out on top in an action-packed and topsy-turvy opening league fixture at Hertford.
Diddy raced into a two-goal lead courtesy of Connor Barrett and a Dontai Stewart own-goal.
However, a drinks break refreshed Hertford and within ten minutes the game was turned around with Obi Ogbonna setting up Ben Weyman and then scoring himself, either side of a Chris Gosling header. However, sub Jamar Smith then levelled the game again just before half-time.
