IN temperatures over 30°, Bashley made a sizzling  return to the Southern League, beating last season’s Division One South play-off finalists at the GlenMex Stadium.
While the weather was uncomfortably hot, Bashley kept the heat on Bristol Manor Farm, especially during a first half which ended 1-1 when
it might easily have been at least 5-0 after a frustrating sequence of near-misses.
