THE baking hot weather was the winner as Willand Rovers and Westbury United played out a goalless draw at Silver Street.
Westbury had loud penalty appeals after eight minutes, then a powerful free-kick was well saved by George Burton.
Martin Johnson fired wide for Westbury, before Dean Stamp had Willand’s first good chance, his drive cannoning off the crossbar.
The pace slowed down in the second half, though Westbury’s Harvey Flippance saw his header saved
