GOALS from David Pearce and Jack Gardner secured victory for Thame United over Walthamstow in the Southern League Division One Central in a convincing display.
The scoring took 55 minutes to get under way, but when it did it was done so in emphatic fashion.
Pearce found space from a Thame corner to make no mistake with his fourth goal in as many games.
Les than 20 minutes later it was 2-0, with Gardner putting the visitors out of sight with a fine finish from the edge of the box following Dan West’s expert hold-up play.
