■ MELKSHAM came away with the three points after a deserved win at home.
Sam Hendy opened the scoring with a firm header after good play between Dan Mcbeam and Albie Hopkins opened the Willand defence up.
On the stroke of half-time Joseph Romanski skewered a semi-cleared corner into the corner of the net from the edge of the area.
Melksham put the game to bed early in the second half when Ryan Guppy reacted and gave away a penalty which the impressive Hendy calmly put away to make sure of the points.
