■ THIS game was ultimately decided in the opening 20 minutes during which Ives gifted their second-placed visitors a two-goal lead.
The opener on 13 minutes was brilliantly taken from 35 yards by Ryan Beswick but it was a poor pass from Charlie Johnson that gave him the chance to float the ball over the out of position James Goff.
The second goal four minutes later came when Kane Lewis got on the wrong side of Charlie Dowd and took him down inside the box – Luke Benbow converted the penalty.
