ILKESTON recovered from a goal down to secure victory.
The visitors took the lead on 14 minutes when a freekick from inside Hitchin’s half, taken by goalkeeper Charlie Horlock, found its way through and Steve Cawley was able to finish past Ollie Battersby.
Ilkeston gradually got control of the game and equalised on 39 minutes when Remaye Campbell’s ball into the six yard box caused a mini scramble and Montel Gibson poked the ball home.
