■BASHLEY manager Paul Morris stepped down after the match, despite overseeing a win over Paulton Rovers.
A club statement said: “The club sadly confirms that firstteam manager Paul Morris has stepped down from his duties. Bashley FC can never thank Paul enough for his services.”
The only goal of the game came five minutes into the second half when Jack Lovell’s looping header went up and over keeper Aaron Sainsbury’s despairing leap.
