■A GOAL in each half condemned Biggleswade FC to their first home defeat of the season against a dogged Highworth.
FC left their shooting boots at home, one wasting a host of opportunities.
Felipe Barcelos gave the visitors an 18th-minute lead from the penalty spot after he gambled on a long goal-kick forward to beat Dan Green to the ball before being upended. He then tucked away the penalty. Tom Coles, normally lethal in the air, passed up a number of chances to at least equalise for FC, including striking the woodwork with a far post header.
