THE OPENING phase in this cat and mouse affair came to life in the ninth minute when Lee Wort had his shot tipped behind.
From the resulting corner Rob Flooks powered a header goalwards, but as the keeper made a scrambled attempt to clear the ball, the assistant referee was in position to have deemed it to have crossed the line.
Sholing then dominated a very scrappy game Lee Wort opened up the Linnets’ defence but hit his shot flew over the bar.
