WITH the sun on their backs the Lambs had the better of the opening exchanges with three good chances to open the scoring. Alex Battle shot wide, Dan Evans’ missed with a glancing header and Liam Prynn fired wide after being played through.
It was the visiting Magpies who went ahead in the 17th minute though when a cross-field ball from Bartlett was returned to him to drive home the opener.
Tavistock equalised after the break when ping pong around the Wimborne goal ended with Prynn getting the final touch.
