DIDCOT were on course for a third successive defeat before an inspired late rally ended the resistance of ten-man Hertford.
Substitute Josh Hedges was the hosts’ matchwinner, his header from Connor Barrett’s cross looping over goalkeeper Ronnie Sandford with time running out.
Barrett himself had hauled Diddy level, converting a penalty after he was fouled.
That outcome felt far away when Vladut Sighiartau, served by David Ogbonna, put the visitors ahead with the decisive touch at the end of a counter.
