■ THE home side won the day thanks to Jay Malshanskyj’s winner.
Melksham started brightly with Alex Henshall, Ben Brooks and Malshanskyj all looking dangerous with early pressure.
The game tipped in the home side’s favour when Aaron Taylor was sent off for a full blooded challenge on Henshall after 30 minutes.
Melksham made good use of the extra space and took a deserved lead on the brink of half time when Malshanskyj wrong footed Adam Seedhouse-Evans with an excellent finish.
