A POOR game with  neither side taking control was decided by Kye Simpson’s goal.
Slimbridge’s first chance saw Edji Mbunga hit the bar from 20 yards.
Larkhall scored the only goal late in the first half when a Slimbridge corner was cleared upfield leaving Larkhall on a break of three on one and it was Simpson who fired the winner past a helpless Lewis Adams.
Early in the second half the Larks lost goalkeeper Alfie Kelsey to injury and Tom Warren took over between the sticks.
