■EVESHAM United secured their second consecutive victory as they beat Slimbridge at the Spiers & Hartwell Stadium.
A second half goal from Jack Hallahan was enough for the Robins following their big midweek win over Sholing.
It wasn’t plain sailing for Mike Ford’s men, however, as the first 45 minutes saw both sides lock horns in a stalemate of possession and chances - apowerful, but wide, header from Kyle Belmonte was Evesham’s only major chance in the first half.
