■ WIMBORNE worked hard to return to winning ways.
In a first half that won’t linger long in the memory, Rovers had the best chance after ten minutes as Ben Griffith fired a loose ball straight at keeper Shane Murphy.
Wimborne broke the deadlock on the hour mark when Kaya Tshaka converted Dan Bartlett’s pass from 12 yards.
The lead lasted 20 minutes before Bailey Kempster bundled home Lewis Hill’s header from a free-kick.
