A FIRST-MINUTE goal from veteran former Football League striker Scott Rendell was all that separated the two sides in an entertaining top-versus-bottom clash.
A Totton free kick on the edge of the box saw the ball floated into the Slimbridge box and Rendell was found unmarked to head into the corner of the net for the only goal.
Slimbridge had a good chance to pull a goal back before half-time when Ethan Dunbar’s sliding effort at the back post just fell wide.
