Bullard boost for Linnets

■ THE LINNETS travelled home with all three points as their efforts to avoid relegation intensified with an allround display that warranted the win.
They started brightly with Luke Gray having a shot blocked as Exmouth lacked ideas. After a scrappy period a
superb pass from Gray found Freddie Bullard in space and a composed finish opened the scoring on 36 minutes.
The hosts were brighter after the break but in the main were restricted to long-range efforts that narrowly missed the target.
