TWO first-half goals from Brandon Adams gave Ware the honour of being the only team to do the double over champions Berkhamsted.
His first was a diving header and the second a close-range shot as the home defence were appealing for offside.
In the second half, Ben Walster struck a post with a free-kick for Berkhamsted and Luke Andrews went down, but play was waved on. A penalty appeal for handball was turned down as Berkhamsted kept pressing. Late on, Berkhamstead’s Luke Andrews was sent off for a last-man challenge.
