■ LYMINGTON secured safety by a single point thanks to their win over Slimbridge.
They could not have had a better start. Only ten minutes in, a long punt upfield saw the visitors’ keeper fumble the ball, allowing Owen Fee to score from close range.
Lymo’s Freddy Bullard almost increased the lead but missed the target when it looked easier to score.
Lymington increased their lead with substitute Harrison Cable scoring from close range after 70 minutes.
