■ KIDLINGTON got back to winning ways as they welcomed Barton Rovers to Yarnton Road.
An evenly-matched first half meant the deadlock was still not broken at the interval, but The Green’s came out the blocks in the second 45.
Mekhai Grant and Piers Walton both worked their socks off and Kidlington finally broke Rovers’ resistance after 67 minutes when a pinpoint cross from midfielder Jack Gardner met the head of Ryan Knight who prodded home.
