WALTHAM Abbey and Biggleswade couldn’t be separated in the Division One Central as they battled to a hard-fought draw.
With the hosts fighting for promotion, they will be disappointed to have failed to come away with all three points, but relieved they were able to salvage a point from what seemed like certain defeat.
The mid-table visitors rallied and took the lead in the 77th minute when Michael Simpson rode incoming challenges to make room for an unstoppable effort into the bottom corner.
