Match Preview: Plymouth Parkway v Merthyr Town (Saturday, 3pm)

Merthyr Town travel for Saturday’s match against Plymouth Parkway looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in the Southern League Premier South.

Merthyr, who sit fourth in the league after 30 games, fell to a 3-2 home defeat to Bracknell Town on February 10.

They face a Plymouth Parkway side who also lost their last match, a 1-0 defeat to Beaconsfield Town, and who sit 17th in the table.

With 64 goals in 30 games so far this season, Merthyr are the league’s highest scorers with 2.1 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 44 goals at a rate of 1.5 per game.
